Dear RAM representatives and friends of RAM,
As was discussed at the recent RAM Conference, RAM supports a new project to raise funds for expanded human trials of the promising malaria vaccine being developed at the Institute for Glycomics at Griffith University. RC’s Southport and Broadbeach D9640 have registered (Rotary Australia Benevolent Society) RABS Project 16 / 2016-2017. This project which can be found on the RAWCS website will accept tax deductable donations to build sufficient funds for the next phase of trials to proceed. Attached is a flyer with additional information about the project so please include this initiative in any discussions or presentations that you are making on behalf of RAM.
Kind regards, Dave.

Nothing really exciting In Youth this week, our inbound student, Chloe, continues to get the most out of her exchange and the way she approaches the exchange experience really impresses me.
We are currently trying to engage a RYLA candidate. RYLA being one of the ‘Gold Class’ Rotary Youth Programs.
A reminder, to help us raise funds for Youth and other community projects I am running an online Car Boot Sale. Any household goods you no longer need consider donating to the club so we can sell them online. We have had good success so far, although only with small amount of goods. So dig out all those unwanted Christmas and Wedding gifts hiding in the cupboard and contact me.
There will be many enjoyable events this year, for members.

Upon his return, our Vocational Director will update this space with this year's program.
